Research showed that this is natural every 15 years or so and can last up to three years….yikes. Also, I’ll here’s a huge caterpillar issue this year- we were rained on by caterpillar poop for two nights and it became a bit draining. Only thing to mention is that we stayed on a Saturday night and the toilet paper and hand soap wasn’t restocked until late Sunday night (make sure to pack your own as backup!). There are also a decent amount of water spickets and restrooms. The campsites themselves are decent for the $22 a night- a small fire pit, picnic table, and bear lock box. We stayed on the outermost loop which was nice because there weren’t any campsites behind us, only next to us and across the street. Stayed at the Cain Hollow campground at ASP last week.
